Why goodstory?

For years, I wrestled with where I fit in within God’s story of redemption. Our culture told me this story was all about me. Yet, I saw something bigger in Scripture and longed to use the gifts God gave me in this work — while keeping my family at the center of my calling.

It wasn’t easy—there were moments of doubt and seasons of waiting—but over time, God revealed a joyful balance where I could serve both in my home and beyond.

What I discovered along the way was

that I wasn’t alone.

So many women had the same desire: to use their skills and passions to advance the good of man and the Glory of Jesus, not just in their homes but also in their communities and the world. I also discovered that the women — specifically moms — working remotely and in family-friendly environments were thriving.

(This makes sense since research shows moms with more than two kids are some of the most productive employees.*)

At the same time, I noticed a common theme among ministries and Christian-owned small businesses — an ever-increasing need for disciplined, skilled team members.
